Bushwalking adventure

Sunday was the perfect weather for a little bushwalking adventure. We went to Kinglake and did a bushwalk to a waterfall lookout. The bush area was beautiful and quiet. It was only short, 1.5km round trip, just enough with two little ones. The boys loved it on the way there but going uphill on the way back was a bit much! Dad ended up carrying them for the last part!!

New green bird gift tags or Christmas ornaments have been added to my made it shop. I have now sold a few sets of these in various colours... so people must be getting ready for Christmas!

The Workshop in action

I have been busily making lots of  gift tag/ornaments for some orders for my made it shop, including these new pink tag/ornaments that have recently been added.

I have also created a new Dewberry Workshop Facebook page to share news. Check it out and "like" it here so you can see the latest in Dewberry workshop news!

Busy making tags, green to be added soon

New cushions

These cushion are the latest item I have added to my made it shop. I made them mainly as decor for children's rooms but would also be good as a feature on your couch. I also have the matching bird soft toys in my shop so it could be a set.

The cushions are all made from various cotton fabrics. The animals have been appliqued and machine embroidered onto a natural cotton/ linen blend. The bird cushion features one of my favourite fabrics from Umbrella Prints, the Raindrops in Kimono Red. I'm also a little bit obsessed by the cotton/linen blend of the plain fabric on these cushions, with it turning up in quite a few of my latest works! But I'll always love colour!
